Do you need a learning adventure to explore new places and ideas after lots of lockdown?

Are you looking for new ways to engage your students and help them think in new ways?

Wish you had better ways to give your students confidence and curiosity to take part in mobilities?

Want to get away to another culture and meet new people from different places?

We have all of this and more at our study visit!

Glasgow Botanic Gardens
At Discover Glasgow, we’re creating a range of digital learning materials about Glasgow – for hospitality, tourism, English or preparing for mobilities – and we would like to invite you to try them out and also experience the real life detail behind them so you can teach about them with passion and answer questions students might have.

During the study visit, we’ll explore culture, history, food and tourism with a range of Glasgow-based hosts. You’ll also have plenty of opportunity to explore, get to know the public transport system, and even meet host families, host employers and local students and teachers. Throughout the week, we will be reflecting on how you can use what you’re learning in your lessons and what else would help you.

At the end of the week, you will have new insights, knowledge, ideas, friends and access to a growing collection of online learning materials to use with your students.

If you would like to take part in the study visit, please register your interest, and we’ll get in touch with more details. Thanks!
